Even the youngest among us who is baptized and has received their First Eucharist can answer God’s call to Ministry. The Altar Server Ministry is a very special group of young people in our parish who have answered this call. An Altar Server is one of the liturgical ministers with an important role during the Mass or other liturgical services. It is a privilege to minister as an Altar Server at Mass.
Any student in 5th grade or older who has received the Sacrament of First Eucharist is invited to become an Altar Server. Most of our Altar Servers serve our parish through their High School years. A training session is provided.
We, at Queenship of Mary, are blessed to have so many young people willing to actively participate in service at the Liturgy. This ministry is always looking for more youth to join, especially at the 5:0pm and 8:30am Masses.
