During her high school years, Joyce felt called to become a choral music teacher, growing up and studying music education at UTEP in El Paso, TX and then later at Boston University. She wants students to study music to enhance their lives and individual faith journeys.

Joyce has served as a music teacher (both in public schools and through private lessons) and participated in the music ministries in various Catholic Parishes wherever she has lived.

When Joyce moved to New Jersey in 2008, she joined the Queenship of Mary Music Ministry and participated in the choir. In 2009, Joyce began serving as the children's choir (Gaudete choir) director and has been so grateful for having served with so many children, families, and musicians over the years. Queenship has always been another family.

Joyce currently resides in Audubon, PA with her husband, Mike, and her son, Mikey. Joyce teaches private piano and voice lessons near her home in addition to her continued service with Queenship of Mary. Joyce is excited and grateful to serve in a new role alongside all the rest of the family of musicians. .
